Version 1.0 beta 3 (a.k.a. 0.99.12a) of the Free Pascal Compiler is

After this last pre-release, the final race to version 1.0 has started.
Planned are many bugfixes still, and the long-awaited free pascal IDE will
be cleaned up and released at that time as well. We hope that the much-asked
